How do we use excess heat to generate electricity?

Cogeneration is the process of combining heat and power to generate electricity.

Heat is a byproduct of electric power plants.

First: We capture heat emitted from power generation plants instead of letting it escape to the atmosphere.

Second: The captured heat is used to boil water that creates steam to power turbines.

Third: The steam turbines power generators to produce additional electricity.

Fourth: We use the additional electricity to power our facilities and supply other energy needs across our operations.

We apply cogeneration technology to utilize energy from wasted heat.
