Tapline is considered a historical achievement of engineering innovation, but beyond its impressive infrastructure, it also supported the local development and community life of the Kingdom’s northern region.
In 1950, we completed one of our first mega-projects, Tapline.
It stood as a remarkable accomplishment in engineering and innovation. but beyond its large-scale infrastructure, Tapline also brought life to the desert.
Along its path, new towns emerged and quickly developed in the Kingdom’s northern region , supporting local infrastructure and the establishment of local communities.
Recognized as the Kingdom’s first industrial heritage site, Tapline reflects our history of engineering excellence and our role in supporting local development
