Discover how the Saudi Coffee Development Center is advancing coffee production and continuing its journey today with the Saudi Coffee Company.
At the peaks of the Jazan mountains, we launched a community-driven initiative in 2016 to elevate its local coffee micro-industry.
We supported more than 1,000 farmers and planted more than 200,000 coffee seedlings in collaboration with Al-Bir Charity Association and Jazan Mountains Development Authority.
As part of the initiative, we helped establish the Saudi Coffee Development Center.
The Center supports the local coffee value chain by:
- Offering seedlings, best practices, and brand development opportunities to farmers
- Supporting farmers on best practices at every stage of production
- Improving research on product quality and raising standards
- Increasing awareness about local coffee products.
We developed the foundations for stronger coffee production in Jazan, and now it is continued by the Saudi Coffee Company.
