19th Middle East Corrosion Conference (MECC)
Welcome to the 19th Middle East Corrosion Conference.
At Aramco, safeguarding our assets from corrosion is a core priority.
We continuously develop advanced technologies that enhance detection, prediction, and maintenance across our operations.
One of these solutions is an advanced corrosion model. It is a mechanistic model coupled with machine learning.
It helps us assess the corrosion in our systems and optimize inspection, prioritize maintenance, and extend our pipeline’s asset life.
Another interesting area is a hybrid inspection drone system for elevated assets.
The system enables inspection of hard-to-reach areas, minimizing inspection hazards and significantly reducing inspection costs.
