Of course, you cannot just go and push and button and that’s it. It’s a long transition.
You cannot go to an emerging economy like economies in Africa or the rest of the world and ask them to switch to whatever advanced economies are doing.
If you look at the world today, you have more than 600 million people who do not have access to conventional energy.
We cannot just immediately go from Point A to Point B without thinking of the consequences and the impact on different economies around the world and increasing the gap between the Global South and the North. We need to be more considerate.
