The world will continuously need energy. Having said that, what can we do to make the world a better place to live?
We are now investing in CCUS.
Aramco will be one of the largest investors in the blue hydrogen.
So we have less emissions with the blue hydrogen; we have the carbon capture and sequestration; and we have all the oil wells where we can sequester the carbon dioxide.
We want to reach zero flaring as soon as possible.
Also, we invested in renewable energy, so Aramco already invested in Sudair Solar, and we will continue co-investing with the likes of PIF and others.
The bottom line is we should be less idealistic and more practical; and that is what we are doing in Aramco.
If we have a more data-driven approach, it’s going to be much better than just an idea without any implementation plans.
