Aramco hosts Turkish Contractor Forum

Aramco’s Project Management (PM) recently hosted a Turkish Contractor Forum in Ankara, Turkey, to showcase the company’s upcoming project portfolio and discuss collaboration opportunities for the 2023-2025 capital program.

The two-day event was attended by 140 professionals from more than 80 companies. In addition to employees from PM, Aramco was represented by individuals from the Contracting Department, the PM Office Department, and Aramco Overseas Company. Presentations were delivered on topics ranging from bidding and registration, to iktva and technology applications.

Abdulkarim A. Al Ghamdi, senior vice president of PM, delivered a keynote speech that included information about Aramco’s portfolio of capital projects, best practices, technology deployments, environmental and safety initiatives, and more.

The forum included more than 200 one-on-one workshops — where contactors learned more about Aramco — and facilitated the gathering of feedback to help streamline and expedite Aramco’s prequalification process.
