Aramco signs surveying services contract with Saudi companies

Aramco, represented by Engineering Services, recently held a signing ceremony with several national companies that will provide land, aerial, hydrographic, and geographic surveying services.

Attending the ceremony, senior vice president for Engineering Services Motaz A. Al Mashouk noted that the contract launches an important partnership between Aramco and national surveying providers, which continue to provide high quality services.

The contract represents a commitment from Aramco’s partners to enhance localization within geomatics services — and continue to develop the talents of Saudi nationals — in line with Aramco’s iktva initiative.

The services will be provided to Aramco’s Geomatics Services Division in the Operational Excellence Department. The national surveying companies are Saudi Comet Co. Ltd., Arab Company for Projects, Al-Jehat Company, Abaja Contracting, Ala Abdulhadi, and Khalifah Alhawas Engineering Consulting Company.
