Gas is a proven, reliable, and affordable source of energy.
To meet local demand for gas, we aim to develop and increase its production by expanding our Master Gas System, our network connecting the Kingdom’s largest gas plants, in order to increase the processing and delivery of natural gas nationwide.
The Fadhili Gas Plant is part of that network, and one of the first plants that was able to process two different types of non-associated gas.
The first type of gas, from the Hasbah offshore field, supplies the Master Gas System network, while ultra-sour gas from the Khursaniyah onshore field is used for generating electricity.
We are also developing the Jafurah gas field, which contributes to gas production by allowing us access to previously untapped energy resources.
We expand the scale of our infrastructure and work to meet growing local energy demand and help ensure energy security.
