Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare announces experts on medical rotation
Six highly skilled doctors from Johns Hopkins Medicine in the U.S. will be doing rotations at JHAH in January and February.
John Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) announces the current and upcoming experts from Johns Hopkins Medicine (JHM) U.S. that will be making rounds over the coming few weeks.
Specialists from JHM U.S. share their expertise during ongoing medical rotations on the grounds at JHAH, reviewing complex cases, providing patient consultations, and performing surgeries for our patients.
Dr. Eellan Sivanesan
Johns Hopkins Medicine (JHM) U.S. pain management expert Dr. Eellan Sivanesan has joined John Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH)-Dhahran on medical rotation through Feb. 2.
Sivanesan, who is JHM director of Neuromodulation and assistant professor at Johns Hopkins University-School of Medicine, treats patients with chronic back, joint, abdominal, pelvic, headache, facial, neuropathic, cancer, complex regional pain syndrome, post-amputation, and other pain conditions. He performs fluoroscopically and ultrasound guided interventions.
Sivanesan’s visit is allotted for pre-scheduled complex cases and procedures for JHAH patients.
Dr. Danielle Patterson
JHM Gynecology and Obstetrics expert Dr. Danielle Patterson has joined the JHAH Dhahran General Surgery Team on medical rotation through Feb. 2
Patterson, who is JHM director of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship and is an assistant professor of gynecology and obstetrics, has extensive training in urogynecology and reconstructive surgery. Her expertise includes diagnosing and treating pelvic floor disorders, stress and urinary incontinence, and uterine prolapse.
Patterson’s research interests mirror her clinical practice and include identifying risk factors for pelvic floor dysfunction and improving minimally invasive treatments for recurrent stress and urinary incontinence.
Her visit is allotted for pre-scheduled complex cases and procedures for JHAH patients.
Dr. Mehran Habibii
JHM U.S. breast cancer expert Dr. Mehran Habibi is on surgical rotation through Feb. 2.
Habibi, who is medical director of Johns Hopkins Breast Center Center at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and is an associated professor of surgery, specializes in breast surgical oncology, with an emphasis on compassionate patient care and personalized surgical treatment for breast cancer patients. His expertise includes complex breast cancer cases. including male breast cancer, sarcoma, rare tumors, and breast cancer in pregnancy and young patients.
His visit is allotted for pre-scheduled complex cases and procedures for JHAH patients.
Dr. Edward J. Wright
JHM urology expert Dr. Edward J. Wright has joined the JHAH Urology Team on a medical rotation at JHAH-Dhahran through Feb. 2. He is the director of the Division of Reconstructive and Neurological Urology at JHM and chief of Urology at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
Wright’s specialty is mending urological body parts and restoring functionality in them. His clinical and research interests are in male and female urinary incontinence, complex voiding dysfunction, and pelvic urinary reconstructive surgery.
His visit is allotted for pre-scheduled complex cases and procedures for JHAH patients.
Dr. Brian Matlaga
JHM U.S. urology expert Dr. Brian Matlaga is on medical rotation at JHAH Dhahran and Al-Hasa from Feb. 5-9. Matlaga is the director of The Stephens Center for Stone Disease and professor of urology.

Matlaga is an internationally recognized specialist in the medical and surgical management of patients with urinary stone disease.
Dr. Yassine Daoud
Johns Hopkins Medicine ophthalmology expert Dr. Yassine J. Daoud will be on surgical rotation at JHAH-Dhahran on Feb. 12-16.
Daoud, who is chairman of ophthalmology at Howard County General Hospital and an associated professor of opthamology, specializes in cataract and refractive surgery (LASIK), as well as the diagnosis and treatment of corneal disorders including Fuchs dystrophy and keratoconus. He is internationally known for his surgical skills especially in complex cornea transplants and management of challenging cataract surgeries.
Daoud’s visit is allotted for pre-scheduled complex cases and procedures for JHAH patients.
