Kidney and eye specialists scheduled to visit JHAH in November

Dr. Brian Matlaga, a JHM urology expert, will be on medical rotation at JHAH in Dhahran and al-Hasa from Nov. 13-17. 

Matlaga is director of the Stephens Center for Stone Disease, and professor of urology.

Matlaga is an internationally recognized specialist in the medical and surgical management of patients with urinary stone disease.

Meanwhile, Dr. Yassine J. Daoud will be on surgical rotation at JHAH Dhahran from Nov. 13-17. 

Daoud is chair of Ophthalmology, Howard County General Hospital, and associate professor of ophthalmology.

Daoud specializes in cataract and refractive surgery (LASIK), as well as the diagnosis and treatment of corneal disorders including Fuchs dystrophy and keratoconus. He is internationally known for his surgical skills, especially in complex cornea transplants and the management of challenging cataract surgeries.
