Health safety has long been at the fore of Aramco’s keen focus, as it was in 1969 when food-service personnel received a refresher course on handling food.
Jabir Al-Dossary of the Medical Department in 1969 gives Aramco food-service personnel from the Dhahran Dining Hall, Snack Bar and al-Munirah Cafeteria a refresher course on health practices involved with handling food. After a demonstration in which the class placed their fingers on petri dishes that were cultured before and after washing their hands, Al-Dossary demonstrated the proper method of serving plates and keeping food containers and tableware protected behind glass.
