Celebrating 'Id Al-Adha
Aramco Communities and Ithra host variety of activities
Community Services and the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) provide a plethora of games, meals, entertainment, and more as Aramcons and local communities celebrate the 'Id holiday.
Aramco communities and Ithra celebrated 'Id Al-Adha with events and activities designed to capture the cultural richness of Makkah Al-Mukarramah in this festive season.
At Ithra, visitors were able to learn about the traditions of the Hajj, make their own arts and crafts with gold and silver thread, immerse themselves in the Arabian Peninsula's geography in the Rehlaat Gallery, shop around Ithra's Market — modeled on the market in Makka — and attend a live performance by singer Humood AlKhudher.
Kings' Park in Dhahran was busy with many fun events for kids of all ages, live music, and multiple food outlets.
The Najmah community in Ras Tanura celebrated the 'Id with approximately 5,000 visitors who attended two days of events, which include live music and many fun games and events for children.
Kids didn't miss out on the many chances for enjoyment that were offered in Aramco's communities at al-Hasa, 'Udhailiyah, Qurayyah, Abqaiq, Jiddah, and Yanbu'.
