It gives me great pride to inaugurate the Aramco Research Center here at KAUST. The work done here will be mission critical for helping us deliver on our net-zero ambitions.
We have asked the team to target the following three areas:
- Researching practical, near-future ways of reaching operational net-zero
- Accelerating crude-to-chemicals, low-carbon hydrogen and nonmetallic materials
- Applying the predictive power of artificial intelligence to help us solve these complex engineering challenges.
