The new Ajyal International School has selected an operator and will soon begin offering an educational American program to students.

The new private school will open on August 29, 2021, and 75% of places will be reserved for Aramco dependents, with the remaining places allotted to the public. Dependents will also receive a 35% tuition discount.

“One of the most important priorities our employees have is providing a good education for their children,” said Ahmed Hassanein, a program development and evaluation analyst. “This new school strikes a balance between providing a rigorous, top-notch educational experience with affordable tuition.”

Recently, GEMS, an international operator of schools in more than 20 countries, was selected to operate the school. GEMS has been in business for more than 40 years and has a proven track record of offering quality educational service in more than 20 countries. GEMS was selected from 17 companies bidding for the opportunity to operate the school.

The new school will feature a full-fledged American curriculum incorporating science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM), English language skills, as well as Advanced Placement and SAT preparation courses. The school will also offer a diverse range of extracurricular opportunities.

The new school campus will include cutting-edge instructional features such as smart classrooms, laboratories, virtual reality and augmented reality tools, athletic facilities, and a modern library with the latest research aids. The Ajyal Private School will have a capacity of 1,200 students in grades K-12.
